UPDATE: Oyo Assembly Confirms PSGA, Bode Ladipo, As New Commissioner 

The Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Ladipo Olabode Taiwo as Commissioner-designate following the approval of his nomination during Tuesday's plenary sitting presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin.

Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has forwarded the name of the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Dr Olabode Taiwo Ladipo, to the Oyo State House of Assembly, as a commissioner-nominee.

The governor has also appointed Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande as the Chairman, Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee; Honourable Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser, Intra-Party Affairs; and Hon Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as Part-Time Member, Local Government Service Commission.

According to a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi PhD, the appointments take effect from July 1, 2026.

Governor Makinde, while congratulating the newly-appointed individuals, urged them to discharge their duties with dedication, loyalty and commitment.
