Oyo Head of Service Felicitates Christians, Urges Unity and Dedication to Duty

 




The Oyo State Head of Service, Olubunmi Oni, mni has congratulated civil and public servants in the state on the occasion of the 2026 Easter celebration.


In a statement issued and signed in Ibadan, the state capital, Oni described Easter as a significant period of joy and reflection for Christians across Nigeria. 


She noted that the celebration symbolizes peace, love, and unity, expressing hope that it would further strengthen the faith of believers nationwide.


The Head of Service also commended the cordial relationship among civil and public servants in Oyo State, highlighting their peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding as a strong example of religious tolerance, regardless of differences in faith or background.


She Re-affirmed the commitment of the present administration in the State under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, 


Oni hinted that workers’ welfare remains a top priority. She added that the government is dedicated to positioning Oyo State as a leading force in public service excellence while sustaining rapid development across the “Pacesetter State.”


She then urged civil and public servants to embrace the lessons of Easter by demonstrating renewed dedication, diligence, and commitment to their duties across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies for the continued growth and development of the state.
