The Provost of the Oyo State College of Health Sciences and Technology (OYSCOHEST), Eleyele, Ibadan, Pharm. Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo has extended warm congratulations to all Muslim staff and students of the institution on the successful completion of this year’s holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message made available to the College community, the Provost commended the Muslim faithful for their dedication, discipline, and commitment demonstrated throughout the period of fasting, prayers, and acts of charity.
She noted that Ramadan is a sacred period that teaches virtues such as patience, selflessness, tolerance, and spiritual renewal, adding that these values are essential for peaceful coexistence and national development.
The Provost encouraged the Muslim community to sustain the lessons and virtues imbibed during Ramadan in their daily lives, emphasizing the importance of unity, mutual respect, and continuous service to humanity.
She further prayed that the Almighty Allah accepts their acts of worship, grants their supplications, and blesses them with good health, peace, and prosperity.
The Provost also urged all members of the College community to continue to promote harmony and uphold the core values of the institution for the collective progress of OYSCOHEST.
She wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration.
