The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, on Thursday officially presented the appointment letter of the Head of the Oyo State Civil/Public Service to the newly appointed Head of Service, Dr. Mrs. Adenike Fasina, mni.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Office of the Head of Service, Secretariat, Ibadan, marking a significant milestone in the leadership transition within the state's civil service.
Professor Babatunde, while presenting the appointment letter, congratulated Dr. Fasina on her elevation and expressed confidence in her ability to provide effective leadership for the state's workforce.
He noted that her wealth of experience in the civil service would further strengthen the ongoing reforms and improve service delivery across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Oyo State.
In her response, Dr. Fasina expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the confidence reposed in her and pledged to justify the trust by working diligently to advance the administration's vision for a more efficient and productive public service.
The new Head of Service assured civil and public servants in the state of her commitment to promoting professionalism, discipline and continuous reforms aimed at enhancing service delivery and the welfare of workers.
The event was attended by top government officials and senior civil servants who joined in congratulating Dr. Fasina on her appointment as the 32nd Head of Service of Oyo State.
