The Team visited some health facilities in Ibadan where Community Health Students observe their practical training while they also inspected the Demonstration Room , Science Laboratories and lecture Rooms to assess the available facilities.
The Registrar of Oyo State College of Health Sciences and Technology Eleyele Ibadan Mrs . Dupe Ayoola received the Re accreditation Team on behalf of the College Provost Pharmacist Mrs Oluyemisi Moradeke Oyewo in the Management Conference Room Office of the Provost.
Welcoming the Panel ,the Provost commended the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria for the Quota of Students in the Community Department and for supporting the College
The Team Lead Mr Frederick Teniola had earlier briefed the Management that the Board was in the College for professional assessment of Community Health to determine the continuity of the Course .
Briefing the Management at the end of the visit Mr Frederick Teniola commended the Management of the College for the enabling environment for learning and teaching and for providing the needed facilities for the Department .
He however called on the Management to improve on the existing facilities to sustain the professional standard of Community Health.
Responding to the infrastructural deficit raised by the REACCREDITATION Panel the Deputy Provost Mrs Omolara Fatunmbi on behalf of the College Provost Pharmacist Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo promised that the Management will look into it within the available resources adding that the State Government would be contacted over the capital projects such as Library expansion among others.
Mrs Omolara Fatunmbi praised the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria for the visit promising promising that the College will always cooperate with the Board in ensuring higher professional standard of Community Health.
She used the occasion to thank the Oyo State Government for supporting Oyo State College of Health Sciences and Technology Eleyele Ibadan.
The visit was witnessed by the Principal Officers of the College including the College Librarian Mr Emmanuel Olukayode Akinsoji, the Bursar Mrs Adeola Olanase and the Director of Works Engineer Ayokunmi Ojerinde .
The Head of Department , Community Health Chief Mrs Temitope Awotunde was also on ground to conduct the he Panel round the facilities within the College and some health facilities outside the College .
