Renowned journalist, Wale Adeoba has said he is not a social media blogger but professional journalist.
Adeoba stated this in a telephone chat with Apreel 1 News.com correspondent.
He noted that people should not be surprised when they see him preaching the word of God soonest.
This as he was recently tagged a social media blogger when he defended his longtime friend who is one of the respected Fuji musicians, Alhaji Taiwo Adebisi better known as Taye Currency when there was misunderstanding between him and his colleague, Alhaji Alabi Pasuma and several bloggers which prompted reactions from different quarters.
Adeoba revealed that he has established career in journalism about three decades and achieved.
"I am not a social media blogger but a professional journalist with years of experience", Adeoba said.
He urged the public to understand his actions driven by loyalty to a friend, not a pursuit of online fame.
Insiders hinted that Adeoba's experience and credibility as a professional journalist surpass that of Pasuma's bloggers, putting him ahead in terms of influence and insight during that period.
Adeoba's friendship with Taye Currency is well-known, making his defense for Taye Currency a personal and principled stand.
It was revealed that the bloggers in question are not supporting Pasuma, noting that their criticisms of Adeoba and Currency stem from Pasuma's lack of support for Currency in the past, exposing a perceived hypocrisy.
