The Federal Government and Lagos State Government have applauded Global Sight Services Limited, organizers of the Nigerian Artisan and Technicians Conference (LAGOSNATCO 2025), for their unwavering commitment to empowering artisans across the country.

The three-day conference, held from November 25 to November 27, 2025, took place at the Old NITEL Training School, Cappa Bus Stop, Oshodi, Lagos.

Delivering the keynote address at the opening ceremony, the Honorable Minister of State for Industry, Sen. He congratulated all participants and assured them of the Ministry’s continued support, especially in capacity development and the adoption of new technologies across various trade sectors.

Also delivering goodwill remarks and formally declaring the conference open, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, represented by Alhaja Kudirat Bello, Director of Administration at the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, commended the organizers for their steadfast contributions to the growth and advancement of artisans and technicians in the state.

She highlighted several ongoing initiatives through which the Lagos State Government supports tradesmen and artisans, noting that additional support programs for MSMEs are underway. She congratulated the convener and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting skills development, innovation, and economic sustainability among its workforce.

The Guest Speaker, Professor Fisher David Adeyinka, delivered an insightful and impactful presentation on the theme: “Artisan Innovation: Driving Sustainable Practices and Green Technology.” His address emphasized the critical role of artisans in Nigeria’s transition to environmentally responsible and technologically advanced practices.

This year’s conference also recorded the participation of key government agencies including the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), NEXIM Bank, and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC).

During the closing ceremony, Dr. Dayo Bello, Managing Director of Global Sight Services Limited and Convener of LAGOSNATCO 2025, expressed profound appreciation to all partnering and collaborating government agencies for their invaluable support.
