The Provost of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan, Pharmacist Oluyemisi Moradeke Oyewo has sent a congratulatory message to the entire staff and students of the College for seeing this year's Democracy Day hale and hearty in spite of the socio economic and political challenges bedeviling the country.
The message is contained in a press release signed by the College Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Sola Samuel Ojewole on behalf of the Provost and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the State Capital.
The statement saluted the courage, zeal and commitment of the staff to the progress of the institution noting with delight their unwavering support as well as their resilience in the face of socio economic challenges.
The Provost urged all staff members and students to put their trust in God and uphold moderation and self-discipline in their daily lives.
She called on them not to be downcast over the seemingly undaunted individual challenges occasioned by the high cost of living but maintain a positive outlook in the hope that at the end of every tunnel comes light.
Pharmacist Oluyemisi Oyewo called on everyone to stay away from all inimical steps capable of destroying their relationship with God and fellow human beings.
The OYSCOHEST boss advised the college community to always stay within their means and avoid anything capable of putting them into problems.
The Provost further tasked individuals to ceaselessly pray for the country and those in government as Nigeria is marking another Democracy Day.
The College boss felicitated Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on the occasion of the Democracy Day, commending his Government for the giant feats attained so far in the last six years.
She prayed that God will grant Nigeria enduring peace and lead her leaders aright in proffering solutions to the myriad of the nation's challenges as we celebrate this year's Democracy Day.
