An Ibadan based Legal Luminary and an erudite retired Banker , Barrister Oludare Adewale has cautioned End Bad Government Protesters against violent demonstrations in the overall interest of Nigeria .
Barrister Adewale made the call while participating in BCOS. Television Yoruba personality programme , Kutuhai in Ibadan , Oyo State Capital .
The Legal icon said Chapter four of 1999 Constitution allows for the right to demonstrate but with conditions not to infringe upon the rights of others or affect other people's rights .
He said although the Constitution guarantees the right to demonstrate by individuals or groups but outlaws are violent while protesting .
Barrister Oludare Adewale called on Nigerians protesting to be reasonable in their demonstrations and abstain from vandalizing public properties provided by the Government .
He frowned at the violent demonstrations during End SARS Protest in 2020 claiming lives and property .
The Public Affairs Analyst equally emphasized the need. for the present Administration to do the needful in addressing the nation, s multi facetted problems for peace to reign and to douse the heightened tension .
He however admonished Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu for the policies of his Government to come to fruition .
Barrister Oludare Adewale stressed the need for Nigerians to always obey the law and do what is right at all times .
He said the task of nation building is a joint responsibility which must be embraced by all well meaning citizens.
He recalled with dismay that violent demonstrations would never be of any benefit noting that there will be development where peace thrives.
