Easter Celebration: E A Disability, Hon Timothy Urges Christians to Embrace Jesus Christ virtues

The Executive Assistant to the Governor Makinde on disability matters. Hon. Timothy Olufemi on Sunday Extends Easter Greetings to the people of Oyo State as well as People's Governor of the pace setter State, Engineer Seyi Makinde. 

In a Statement signed in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital for Easter celebration to the residents of Oyo State commend Governor Seyi Makinde's continuous efforts towards inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. 

Hon. Timothy Olufemi emphasized the significance of the Easter season as a time of renewal, reflection, and unity. 

The statement encouraged all residents to come together in love and peace, fostering a sense of community and support for one another. Drawing inspiration from the Bible verse Romans 15:7, "Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God," the message encouraged all residents to come together in love and peace, fostering a sense of community and support for one another. 

Furthermore, Olufemi took the opportunity to commend Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment to promoting inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with disabilities in Oyo State. 

Governor Makinde's dedication to implementing inclusive policies and initiatives has had a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities, creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all residents. 

The statement also included a reminder for individuals with disabilities to prioritize safety and well-being during the festive season, encouraging them to stay away from any activities or situations that may pose harm or risk.

He said, "I want to sincerely congratulate the Christian faithful in our dear state particularly Governor Makinde and all Christian leaders, for witnessing another celebration of Easter. It is my belief that the Christian faithful will not forget the essence of the season which is to love one another, so they must put aside their differences and come together in unity, just as Christ’s resurrection brought together.

While wishing the good people of the pace setter state a spiritually rewarding Easter celebration, Hon. Timothy however urged them to intensify prayers for the success of  Governor Seyi Makinde administration in the State.
