Oyo Govt, Charges ANCOPSS to Protect Students from Anti Social Vices

The Oyo State Government, through the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo FAS FTWAS has charged principals of Secondary School to collaborate with the security Agencies in the State to protect  students from anti-social vices.

She stated this during a courtesy visit paid by All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary schools (ANCOPSS), Oyo State Chapter held at the SSG's office Secretariat, Ibadan.

She said the present administration in the State would recruit more teachers based on available data.

She urged ANCOPSS to work with their colleagues to put an end to insecurity , thugery and other anti social vices in the school.

She said "education is very key to the development of a society, I want you to make the school environment conducive for learning in our public schools, we want principals of the secondary school to monitor their students and protect them from anti - social vices". 

In his remarks, the ANCOPSS President in Oyo State, Pastor Abraham Ojetunde said the present administration in the State has been performing extremely well among all states of the federation on teacher's welfare.

Ojetunde enjoined the State Government to recruit more teachers for public secondary schools in the State.
