The Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, mni, has charged members of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) to support the present administration in ways to improve the public sector.
She stated this on Thursday while hosting Executive members of (ANAN), at the Head of Service, conference room, Secretariat, Ibadan.
She enjoined members of the association to be more steadfast, hardworking, diligent and trustworthy, saying that, whenever they were called upon for work in the service, they should be willing to do their best.
She said, "you may not know people are watching you, it is what you do at your work place that will take you to the highest pedestral".
The Head of Service urged all members of the association to support the State Government efforts to turn Oyo State to investors' hub.
She added that the present administration in the State led by Engineer Seyi Makinde recognized the impact of training of all sectors at all levels, hinting that, training and re-training is very important in the public sector.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the association, Dr. Samuel Esanju commended the State Government for exposing it's top management staff to international training programmes, describing it as a giant stride.
