Oyo State Government, has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) to enhance the skills and capabilities of administrative officers in the State Civil Service.
The Head of Service stated this while paying host to the executive members of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) held at the Secretariat Ibadan.
The HOS underscored the pivotal role of the civil service as the “engine room of any government.
She expressed enthusiasm about the Institute’s offer in providing free training for one hundred (100) administrative officers, thus recognizing it as an unprecedented move aligned with Oyo State’s vision of creating a more efficient and effective public service.
Mrs. Oni commended CIPM’s collaboration with the state, emphasizing the profound impact that will be felt in the development of civil servants.
She said " Administrative officers willing to be a member of the Institute will undoubtedly accelerate their career advancement".
“Under the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, the administration has approved both local and overseas training for top civil servants, coupled with welfare packages that foster professional growth and well-being.”
In his remarks, President of the Institute Mr. Mojeed Olusegun, extolled the State Government for promoting competencies and standards among civil servants, particularly within administrative and human resources roles .
