2023: Oyo S.A OYSIEC Urges Electorates to get PVC, Organises Rally





The Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on OYSIEC, Mr. Tallest Innocent has admonished people of the State to get their permanent voters card for 2023 general elections.


He made this known during a sensitization exercise across Ibadan metropolis tagged "Power of PVC".


Hon. Tallest moved round the State with 50 bikers to pay courtesy visit to the State Commissioner for Police Mr. Williams Adebowale, Headquarters of the State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Oyo State, with their staff troop out Emmas to join the sensitization movement, from  Mokola, Sango, Challenge, Ojoo, Eleyele, U.I, Dugbe, Iwo road, back to State Secretariat.


The Special Assistant to the Governor on OYSIEC urged people to collect their PVC so that they can vote for the candidate of their choice at the  2023 general elections.


He charged politicians to play politics of development and work together to support the present administration in the State led by Engineer Seyi Makinde to complete the good work beyond 2023.


He appreciated Governor Makinde for massive infrastructural development across the  each Geo-political zones of the state, saying that, he would do more if he re-elected.


He said "Governor Makinde is a Christian, yet he doesn't discriminate in any of the religions we have in Oyo State, he renovated Agodi- Gate and Adogba central mosque to a modern standard for Islamic purposes.


He admonished people of the state to support the present administration in the State to complete the good work he had started.


According to the Special Assistant  on OYSIEC "Governor Makinde had been a friendly Governor, it was his time we were given enabling environment to do our business, you know we Igbo people we are known for business, since inspection of this regime things had been moving fine for us, no breaking of shops, no disturbance or high tax paying for our businesses, that is why we are voting him for second term, we have agreed on that and no going back".


He said the present administration had recorded tremendous achievements across the State in Saki, Ibadan, Ogbomosho, Oyo and  Ibarapa in terms of Road Construction, Health Care Centres, Light up Oyo Project, Security and his giants stride in Education sector is unprecedented.

We Will Continue to Collaborate FG, NITDA on ICT - Oyo Govt.




The Oyo State Government, through the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun has said that the present administration in the State will  collaborate with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) on digital communication.


She stated this while hosting the management staff of the Zonal Offices Directorate NITDA at the SSG's conference room, Secretariat, Ibadan.


She said Information Communication Technology is the future of the country which Oyo State Government has keyed into, adding that, the State Government has a robust website which according to her is the best website among the States in Nigeria.


The Secretary to the State Government enjoined NITDA management to increase their collaboration and spread the news to the local ICT centres across the State for the benefit of the youths who are the major players in the ICT sector.


In his remarks, the Director Zonal Offices Directorate NITDA, Mr. Jide Ajayi said the Agency would collaborate with the State Government to encourage more youth on digital communication.



MAKINDE'S AIDE RECEIVES AWARD OF FATHER OF FAITH FROM THE CHRISTAIN WING.




The Special Assistant to Oyo state Governor on Inter-Faith Affairs, Rev Femi Ibikunle received an award as a Father of Faith in the Southwest state of Nigeria from the CPFN, PFN women.


The award covers him being the Father of Faith and representing the Governor in the interfaith affairs in Oyo, Osun, Ogun ondo, ekiti, Lagos and beyond.


He was accorded with an honour of Father of Faith to the CPFN, PFN women wing of the Southwest of Nigeria.


During His speech of Thanksgiving, he delivered the message of the Governor, His Excellency, Engnr Oluwaseyi Makinde who he has been representing .


He thanked them on behalf of the Governor and tendered the prayer request of the Governor and his administration. 


At the end of the meeting, after his speech....Engnr Oluwaseyi Makinde was endorsed for the second term in office by the CPFN, PFN women wing. 


They made it known that they will continue to pray for him and also play their own part..


The S.A On Inter-Faith, Rev Femi Ibikunle whom the award was presented to thanked the women and made it known to them that his principal, Engnr Oluwaseyi Makinde will not disappoint them. 


Also based on the religious delivery, delivery of dividence of democracy in the state, the state governor will not fail them on that aspect also.


He continued in his speech that Bringing equity, justice and fairness in all matters, Seyi Makinde will not fail them. Also embracing and creating a peaceful atmosphere for religion to thrive, Engnr Oluwaseyi Makinde will not fail them also.


He concluded and said 4+4, Seyi Makinde once again.  Whosoever supports the vision will never lack good thing or be disappointed

             FIRE SAFETY

1). Avoid indiscriminate Bush or refuse burning.

2). Do not smoke or drop cigarette end in bed and prohibited areas like Petrol  stations, Gas Stations, Market centres and bush area.

3). Avoid refuelling of running engines like generators, vehicles.

4). Switch off all your electrical appliances and unplug them when not in use.

5). Always maintain good House keeping.

6). Discourage overloading of electrical points in your house and offices.

7). The use of mobile phone in the kitchen, Filling Stations, Gas Stations, etc... should be totally eradicated.

8). Matches and highly flammable  liquids should be kept out of children reach.

9). Avoid careless discarding of cigarette in our environment or naked fire (ember).

10). Flammable liquids like Petrol and diesel should not be stored or kept in building.

11). Have all electrical work done by a qualified electrician and endeavour to use correct size of cable .

12). Gas cylinder should be installed outside the building and never use domestic Gas if you can not smell.

13). Do not shake Gas Cylinder to avoid gas explosion.

Adogba Mosque: Governor Makinde is a Man of His Word - Imam The Chief Imam, Adogba Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdul-Kabir Amzat, has described the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde as a man of his words as he appraised demolished Adogba Central Mosque now beautifully built to modern taste with top notch facilities & fittings. The Imam made the observation during an inspection visit of the Mosque by Alh Abdrasheed AbdulAzeez the Special Adviser to the Governor on Islamic Affairs. Alhaji Abdul-Kabir while commending Governor Seyi Makinde for standing by his promises said, "when Governor Makinde came to us that he would demolish our Mosque for the provision of infrastructural development for public benefit & promised to build another mosque with modern & improve facilities at a nearby site, we were afraid of the fulfilment of that promise but to the glory of Almighty Allah, the Governor has exhibited his uniqueness, reliability & piety with the modern construction that totally beat our expectations within unimaginable period" He said the newly built central Mosque is an Islamic center which includes Standard Mosque, Arabic School, Islamic Model School, Research Centre, Library, Event Hall and Ample Parking Space with good road network for the benefit of the community. He further urged the people of the state, Muslims in Oyo State & Adogba Mosque congregation to continue pray fervently for the success of Governor Seyi Makinde and the three tiers of Government as the 2023 General Elections approaches. In his remarks, the S A to the Governor on Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed AbdulAzeez commended Governor Makinde for rebuilding the Mosque from his private purse saying that, the Governor is a lover of Islam and the entire Muslims in the State. He noted that the Mosque & the ancillary facilities are expected to be fully completed and commission for public use very soon. He further appreciated the Muslim Community of Adogba area for their patience from the day the Mosque was demolished till the expected commissioning.

Ibadan North L/G Will Perform Wonder For Governor Makinde 2023 Governorship Election - Agba Egbe

 


The Executive Chairman


, Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Oladayo (Agba-Egbe) has disclosed that people of Ibadan North Local Government will vote en-mass for Governor Makinde second term in office.


He made this known while addressing journalists at the Local Government Headquarters, Agodi-Gate, Ibadan, the State Capital.


He said the second term of Governor Seyi Makinde will benefit people, hinting that, the Governor had performed excellently well.


He said. "This is the pay back time for Governor Makinde for the good work he has done, we are working towards 70,000 votes for the next Governorship election from Ibadan North Local Government, Omititun 2.0 is intact in all our communities."


Hon. Oladayo stated further that politicians in Ibadan North Local Government have key into the agenda of Governor Makinde for second term in office


"The Governor has changed the narrative of Governance in the State positively in all ramifications, we have upgraded dilapidated Health Centres across the state, provision of adequate security of lives and properties".  


He added that the Governor had designed new form of politics in Oyo State which everybody are running to join.


He then called on politicians across the state to maintain peaceful coexistence, as the 2023 general elections is fast approaching and stop politics of bitterness in the State.

Clergy man Commends Governor Makinde Philanthropic Gesture




The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer  Seyi Makinde has been  described as a performing governor as he has touched the lives of all and sundry.


The commendation was given by the  Bishop of Ibadan North Diocese of Anglican Communion, Church of Nigeria, Right Reverend  Williams  Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe at the foundation laying ceremony of the new Bishop court, Moyede, Ibadan.


 In a statement issues and signed by the Director of Communication   Ibadan North Anglican Diocesan Mr. S .O Ayoade said Bishop Aladekugbe commended some of the achievements of Governor Makinde which include provision of infrastructural facilities, security of lives and properties, regular payment of salaries, allowances and the entitlements to both serving and retired Civil and Public Servants, 

provision of free Education, Free Health Services among others.


He then appealed to all well meaning People within and  outside the country to support the construction and completion of the project as if we do not weary in doing good we will reap it at the proper time.


Present at the occasion were the Clergy men, laity, Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors among others.
